    We also offer a guided service if you'd prefer to have a dedicated case manager take care of everything over the phone rather than doing it yourself online.
  • Getting set up is quick and easy. If you're doing it yourself online it typically takes just 10 minutes. If you're using our Guided Telephone Service we'll aim to have your dedicated case manager call you within the hour for a setup call which should take around 15-30 minutes, or you choose a time that suits you.

    Once we've completed the setup, we'll send out notifications to the relevant accounts and services on your schedule, and keep you updated on progress. Our account discovery searches start coming back immediately, but deeper financial searches often take longer. We'll keep you updated on the progress of your case as we go.

    We may need additional information specific to accounts that we are notifying or searching for, but don't worry - we'll let you know if we need anything else.

We are fully compliant with the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Additionally, we perform identity verification on all of our customers during case creation to ensure that we are only sharing information with those who are permitted to access it.

  • Absolutely. Grant of Probate is not a requirement for using Legacy Trail. However, if you do have Grant of Probate, Grant of Authority (Scotland), or a Letter of Administration then providing these can help speed up account notifications and account discovery searches.
